Hello, I’m Heidi Dellaire.

Who am I you ask? What a fun question to answer in a way that isn’t all about a title. I am a giver, a big giver, a cheerleader for others success, a writer, nature lover, a heart space advocate, an ear to listen, a heart that understands, a feeler, a heart/soul searcher, an empath and an intuitive healer.

Life has been an incredible journey so far and has taught me so much as a feeler of everything. That hasn’t always been easy, but I have learned over the years how to enjoy life and not let my service-oriented, empathic self get in the way of that.

Life is here for us to live it. We are here to love and be loved. We are here to experience each other and ourselves in our greatest potential. We are here to bear witness to ourselves and all living beings.

My Heart Perspective

I have a way of tapping into others hearts because I have learned how to tap into my own superpowers of love and self-love. I am a recovering people-pleaser, a bleeding empath, a highly-sensitive person, a feeler of everything. And that is what I am here to help you with, to get you out of the business of the mind and back into loving your own heart.

I have been on a journey of understanding my feeling nature and intuitive gifts. It has been a journey in which I have had to learn boundaries, stop people-pleasing, learn to love myself and learn that I deserve the same kind of love that I pour out to everyone else. I have learned that all of the answers are within our hearts.

Over the years, I left my corporate job and climbed onto the path of the healing arts. So, this is where I drop in “the what I do” part which only makes up a small part of who I am.

I am a Heart-based Thought Leader, Holistic Health Practitioner/Coach, Intuitive Healer, Licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Ayurvedic Practitioner, Heart Space Coach, Entrepreneur and the managing and publishing editor of LoveWideOpen.com. In my late thirties, I began to feel a disconnect between my corporate job and a yearning in my heart. I was also experiencing the same sort of toxic relationships over and over again. This disconnect racked my body with illness and pain. This began the start of my spiritual journey to heal myself, understand my patterns, rekindle my passions and inspire me to use my gifts to help others heal themselves. I pursued a career in alternative healing modalities and hold certifications and training in massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, Ayurvedic Medicine, Healing Light Therapy, Advanced Cognitive-based Healing Techniques, Somatic Trauma Healing, Heart Space Coaching and am a graduate of Gabrielle Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass for coaches.

The journey to healing one’s own heart can arrive in many ways. I heal through writing poetry and blog posts on my self-development website, LoveWideOpen.com. I also have the Heal Your Story Podcast and the Heal Your Story Blog on this website. My book, Roots and Tendrils, is an intimate look into my heart and all that it has endured and all that it has learned on the journey to self-love and self-healing.

I have a gift for connecting people back to their hearts through my healing work at Blue Owl Bodyworks (my private practice in Maine), through individualized coaching sessions and through my writing and inspirational posts at Love Wide Open (Podcast, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube). It has been my mission to treat every living thing with love and compassion. I feel that I am now spreading that gift of love out into the world by simply speaking and living my truth through vulnerability and by leading with an open heart. I am a modern-day love slinger who will help you get back to your heart space and Heal Your Story.
